Denise Aquino has 15 years of experience within the field of athletics as an athlete, coach, program director, podcaster, and diversity and inclusion educator. As founder of the new podcast, Rowing in Color, she is committed to creating a platform that amplifies the voices of color in rowing and unite the sport through diversity. Combined with her masters degree in youth studies, Denise’s passion and expertise are on creating safe spaces and inclusive program planning for youth of all abilities.
